Yvette's Maternity Session in Houston, Tx

During Yvette's Maternity session, we had a little of a cold front. The best part was that we didn't have to deal with the mosquitoes though. (ha!) I had a vision in my mind, inspired by the gowns that Yvette chose and the weather that day. You've probably heard me mention before, but in the Houston and surrounding areas, it's hard to find a place that shows the seasons. Her session was done in December and it was looking color less. lol! We do not get snow and our fall season is very fast. I don't even think we really get much change of color on the leaves. It's more like, one day they're switching color and the next, BOOM.. Gone! We really have to get creative and add a little something to our portraits. Well, at least that's how I see it. I love getting some fine art looks and adding a little magic to my portraits as much as I can. For this session, I gave her a little of 3 seasons :) Yvette was such a trooper too. She just went with the flow and nailed every shot. She brought along her daughters and son and they were all so supportive of her, helping me guide her and cheering her on. I have to admit that these portraits are definitely some of my favorites.
